Nanning Huishi UAVs are Chinese UAVs developed by Nanning Hui-Shi Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (Nanning Huishi, 南宁慧视科技有限责任公司). Originally a developer of UAV subsystems such as aerial survey payload, data processing software, and other software such as geographic information system utilizing results obtained by aerial survey, Huishi eventually ventured to the final product market of UAV by developing entire UAV system of its own.

Flying wing

Nanning Huishi Flying wing is a fixed wing UAV in flying wing layout with winglets. Propulsion is provided by a two-blade propeller driven pusher engine mounted at the empennage. The ground control station of Fying wing UAV is based on ordinary laptop computers, so no dedicated control console is needed, thus greatly reduces the operational cost. Specification:

  • Weight (kg): 1.2
  • Wingspan (m): 0.98
  • Wing area (dm2): 23
  • Size (m): 1 x 0.6 x 0.15
  • Construction: carbon fiber reinforced epoxy
  • Propulsion: brushless electric motor powered by 11.1 V 6 Ah lithium battery
  • Launch: by hand
  • Recovery: parachute, glide or recovery net
  • Speed (km/h): 55
  • Recommended landing zone (m): 60 x 30
  • Remote control radius (km): 20
  • Normal operating altitude (m): 100 – 750
  • Max wind speed allowed for operation (km/h): 65
  • Deployment time (min): < 15 (from storage to airborne)
  • Quadcopter

Nanning Huishi Quadcopter is a quadrotor developed by Huishi mainly intended for aerial survey and photography missions. As with Flying wing UAV developed by Huishi, the ground control station can also be based on lap top computers. Quadcopter is in typical quadrotor layout with arms stretching out from center and the landing gear consists of a pair of skids.
