Geography

Nangavalli is located at 11.75°N 77.88°E / 11.75; 77.88. It has an average elevation of 385 metres (1263 feet). Nangavalli is famous for its Temple "Sri lakshmi Narashimha Swamy" an Avathar of lord Vishnu

This is the only place where the event conducted lively in Tamil Nadu.From Nangavalli water flows by gravity(without pump) to Salem (Nangavalli to Salem -36 km).This system was constructed and Inaugurated by British people before independence.
