Nandini Shankar (born 1993) is an Indian violinist who performs Hindustani Classical Music and Fusion. She is the daughter of Dr. Sangeeta Shankar and granddaughter of the renowned Padmabhushan Dr. N. Rajam.

Early life

She began her training at the age of 3 and gave her first public performance as an 8 year old. She gave her first full-fledged solo performance in the age of 13. She plays violin in the Gayaki Ang.
Education
Nandini Shankar has excelled in academics. She has completed her graduation in commerce, and is pursuing Chartered Accountancy.
Performing career
She has performed in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in the year 2016.

She has travelled the globe for her performances in countries like USA, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Hungary, UAE, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore. She has performed in various prestigious festivals like the Europalia, Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Festival, Yaksha (festival), Saptak Festival of Music, Aarohi for Pancham Nishad, ITC SRA Sangeet Sammelan, MERU in Netherlands, Jaya Smriti organised by Hema Malini, Temple of Fine Arts, Bhilwara Sur Sangam, The Association of Performing Arts of India, T. N. Krishnan Foundation, Delhi International Arts Festival, Bengal Music Foundation, Dover Lane Music Conference and also been telecast in Idea Jalsa. She also has a music video with her sister Ragini Shankar.
She is a part of Sakhi, India's first ever all-girl Indian classical musical band, formed by Kaushiki Chakraborty.
She currently resides in Mumbai.
