Nanded – Visakhapatnam Express

The Nanded – Visakhapatnam Express (previously Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam Express) is an Express Train service< connecting the cities of Nanded, Maharashtra and Visakhapatnam in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is jointly operated by the South Central Railway and East Coast Railway zones of the Indian Railways. This is a non-daily service which runs on Thursdays and Sundays. The train number 18509 runs from Visakhapatnam to Nanded and the train 18510 runs from Nanded to Visakhapatnam.

Composition

NZB-VSKP Express consists of 17 coaches and 1 locomotive.

  • The coaches are commissioned from the VSKP coaching depot. Unusually, few coaches from KCG were noted.

    Locomotive

    The train is hauled between Nanded and Secunderabad JN by a single WDM3A locomotive from the Guntakal shed or WDP4 locomotive. Between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam it is hauled by a single WAM4P locomotive belonging to the Vijayawada shed.
