Hedin was born in Eskilstuna, Södermanland County, Sweden. She started her career in the late 1980s as backup singer for Swedish artists such as Dr. Alban and Stakka Bo. During 1994-2004 she sang the chorus on most of E-Type's hits, including This Is the Way and Set the World on Fire and started working for songwriters/producers Max Martin and Denniz Pop as backup singer for artists such as Céline Dion, Britney Spears and Ace of Base.

She has also toured Sweden along with comedian Jonas Gardell on several occasions.

Notable TV performances

Hedin and E-Type participated with the song Paradise in Melodifestivalen 2004 and went to the final in Globen. In Melodifestivalen 2005 she was present with the song Wherever You Go, but did not reach the final.

In September 2007 Hedin participated in the musical game show Doobidoo on SVT in pair with Janne Loffe Carlsson against Ingela "Pling" Forsman & Jan Johansen.

Hedin participated in the music program Så ska det låta on May 2, 2008. Musical star Fred Johansson was the teammate against Sarah Dawn Finer and Patrik Isaksson.

Cancer

In 2009 doctors told Hedin that she had cancer in her tongue and she is therefore currently not performing on stage. Shortly after, information on how to donate money appeared on her website in Swedish and English. Some time between late August and early October 2012, more than a year before its expiration date, her website went offline.
