Nallur is a panchayat town in Tirunelveli district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Aladi Aruna (alias) V Arunachalam was an Indian politician and former Member of the Legislative Assembly his native is nallur village and he is old student for west tirunelveli higher secondary school . He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as a Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Alangulam constituency in 1967 and 1971 elections.[1][2]

He was also Member of Parliament elected from Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Tirunelveli constituency as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 1977 election.[3] .
