The NRHA Premier League is the leading competition in English Roller Hockey. The first Premier League season was in 1973-74 and saw Wolverhampton crowned champions. Two teams have dominated the NRHA Premier League titles over the decades even though others have won it or come close: Southsea RHC won the League 12 times from 1980-81 to 1991-92 and Herne Bay United won 16 titles from 1992-93 to 2009-10.

In the 2011-12 Season, Grimsby RHC won their first title pipping both Middlesbrough RHC (2nd place) and Herne Bay United (3rd place) to the title.

2012-13 Season

The clubs that are competing in the 2012-13 Season are: Bury St. Edmunds RHC, Grimsby RHC, RHC Invicta, Herne Bay United, King's Lynn RHC, Letchworth RHC, Manchester RHC, Middlesbrough RHC and Peterborough RHC.
