Nadarajah Balasubramaniam was a Sri Lankan Tamil diplomat and civil servant.

Early life
Balasubramaniam was educated at Jaffna Hindu College.
Career
Balasubramaniam was secretary to Fredrick de Silva when he was a diplomat. He was later ambassador to France, high commissioner to Singapore and deputy permanent representative to the United Nations (UN). He was chairman of the UN's Indian Ocean Peace Zone (IOPZ) committee. He was also senior director general of the Foreign Office.
