"My Way" was written by Eddie Cochran and Jerry Capehart. It was released posthumously as a 45 single in April 1963 in the UK as LIB 10088 on Liberty Records/E.M.I. backed with "Rock 'N' Roll Blues". The single reached number 23 on the UK singles chart in a ten-week run. The song was recorded in January 1959. The single was also released in Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
The song appeared on the 1964 UK album My Way. The song was also featured on the 1972 Legendary Masters Series compilation album.
