Muneesh Sappel (Muneesh Sappal) is an Indian production designer, art director and costume designer. He contributed his work in Pinjar (film), Paheli, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Bhoothnath, Sharpe's Peril and The Sick House. He has won several awards for Best Art Direction and Costume Designing. including the Golden Globe Awards in the Best Foreign Film category for the year 2005.

Early life
Sappel received graduation degree from Lucknow College of Arts and Crafts in photography. He is also a diploma holder in Dramatic arts from Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lucknow in Scenic design. He also received fellow-ship of Drama School and Repertory at Lucknow to work on Shakespearean theatre in 1990.
Career
He started his career in 1982 with a renowned amateur theatre group Meghdhoot, Lucknow. Sappel's first film project was for Sudhir Mishra's debut film, Yeh Woh Manzil To Nahin, as associate art director and actor. In 1990 he came to Mumbai for Chandraprakash Dwivedi's mega-historical series, Chanakya. He then did a string of TV shows and started doing films such as Shaheed Udham Singh and Daman. His big break came with Pinjar and Paheli that earned him several awards and recognition. He also got international exposure with Sharpe's Peril and The Sick House.
He has worked with eminent directors, Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Aditya Chopra, Amol Palekar, Sudhir Mishra, Kunal Kohli, Curtis Radclyffe and Tom Clegg (director).
