Mulberry Downs Quarry is a disused opencast quarry, mining tin, in Cornwall, England, UK. The site is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), noted for its geological characteristics.

History

The mine, known as Mulberry Hill Mine was in sporadic operation between 1859 and 1916, producing 1,350 long tons (1,370 t) of tin during its lifetime.

Geography

The 3.2-hectare (7.9-acre) disused site, notified in 1973, is located within the civil parish of Lanivet, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south west of the town of Bodmin.
