Mukta A2 Cinemas is one of the Cinema chains in India; started by Mukta Arts Ltd. The company began its commercial operations in July 2011 with the launch in Vadodara city, Gujarat, India. Subhash Ghai (Founder, Mukta Arts Ltd.) started this cinemas chain to connect better with the audience. He aimed at building theatres where people could come enjoy the quality of sound and screen at an affordable price. He wants people to watch a film in an eminent theatre without paying any extra cost for the luxuries they provide. Philosophy
Mukta A2 Cinemas is a cinema chain which believes in economic movie watching experience. It often ties up with theatre to develops and manages them in malls and other complexes. Since the company wants to reach the new mass of audiences it aims Tier II cities in India. The chain also takes over ailing single screen theatres. It renovates them to multiplexes with good quality projection, seating, sound and ultimately a better experience for its patron. The company has adopted a low-risk model whereby they have taken up revenue share models. Mukta A2 Cinemas strongly promotes the ideology "Multiplex movie-watching experience at budget rates". At present the chain is present at Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Rajpipla, Banswara, Gulbarga., Hyderabad, Kundli, Mumbai, Sangli, Sailu, Vadodara Vizag and Meerut.

The chain is coming up with more properties and expanding its presence. Soon Mukta A2 Cinemas will be seen in Cheeka, Dehradhun, Aurangabad, Goregaon (Mumbai), Gurgaon, Kheda, Panvel, Pune, Raipur, Vapi etc.
In September 2016, the chain was expanded to Bahrain, where new Mukta A2 Cinemas were established in Juffair Mall.
