Mu Zeng (Chinese: 木增,September 19, 1587 – September 9, 1646), also called A-chai A-ssu, which was his Nakhi name, was a Tusi ruling Lijiang(Chinese: 麗江) between 1600 and 1620. His father was Mu Qing (Chinese: 木青), his mother was Ashijia (Chinese: 阿室加). When he throned, he was only 11 years old. He was good at Chinese literature and wrote many Anthologys.
In 1624, he announced his privacy and gave his position to his son Mu Yi(Chinese: 木懿, Yi in Chinese means that a person who is moral).
In 1640, when Xu Xiake (Chinese: 徐霞客) came to Lijiang, he was welcomed by Mu Zeng.
