Mruthyunjay Doddawad is the founder of Sangeetha Dhama music academy. He is well known as a light music director and singer.

Childhood

He is the son of Sri. Chandrashekhar Doddwad and Smt. Susheela Chandrashekhar. He developed a passion for music in his early childhood. His passion was groomed by eminent guru Late Sri N. Balasubramanyam, also known as Balusharma.hhghf

Education

He graduated from Adarsha film institute, Banglore, in playback singing course along with Sri Manoranjan Prabhakar. He passed the exams with flying colours in 1993-1994 scoring highest marks. To pursue more knowledge in music he joined guru Late Mr. James at James Institute of Modern Music in Bangalore, where he started a career in teaching keyboard and served in various organizations like V.E.T.School (J.P.Nagar), Sadhana Music School (led by Smt. Manjula Gururaj ), and Bhaaratiya Vidhya Bhavan, Bangalore.

Career

He worked for 'Sound of Music,' the famous orchestra troop as a singer, keyboard player and music director. Further, he added to his credit of playing keyboard in music programs of south Indian idols Dr S.P.Balasubramanyam, Dr P. B. Sreenivas, Smt. S. Janaki, Smt .S. P. Shylaja, Sri.Hariharan, P .Susheela, L. R. Eshwari, B. Jayashree, and others. He has performed in a cancer charity show with B. Jayashree and Fayaz Khan, organized by Sushma Jayashree.

Apart from accompanying keyboard and singing, he has composed music for devotions and light music songs. He is known for his innovative style in light music. He has performed more than 100 light music programmes within Karnataka. He composed music for Raaga Rangu and Kareva Koralu light music projects.
