Mro is spoken in the following townships of Myanmar (Ethnologue).

  • Chin State: Paletwa township
  • Rakhine State: Kyauktaw, Buthidaung, Ponnagyun, Pauktaw, Mrauk U, and Maungdaw townships.

  • Arang (Ahraing Khami, Areung, Aroeng)
  • Xengna (Hrengna)

  • Vakung (Wakun, Wakung)
