Mission & vision

The sole object of any academic institution is to spread education among the students properly, not education in its narrow sense but education as a whole. Jungle-clustered villages have produced so many scholars through this institution. Discipline, Regularity and Punctuality, Respect for superiors and teachers are the primal qualities of the students of our school. The Result is improving gradually. We are really proud of serving and teaching the students of such an area which is solely dominated by educationally, socially and economically backward class people. There is ignorance, blind faith on superstition, child marriage, witchcraft and such other cloud of illiteracy. All these are the curse of the society. Illiteracy is the salient feature of such backwardness. Untouchability also prevailed among the neighbouring areas few years back.

In the midst of darkness, we are trying our level best to eradicate all these malpractices from the society. We are determined that someday will come when the fruitful effects only be produced. To do all that some infrastructural development has been done by the side of academic advancement. In 2006, a school-attached hostel has been set up for the SC & ST students. At present 74 students reside in our school hostel and it helps to propel the quality of result. In the session 2006-07, keeping in mind the demand of time, the Vocational Stream has been introduced. These job-oriented courses have spread the name of our school and the pass-outs are engaged in different jobs. Moreover, self-employment is another key to success to these students. In the year 2010 Higher Secondary section is introduced with Science and Humanities Streams. Several decisions and drastic steps have been taken and some is going to the started.

At present 74 students reside in our school hostel and it helps to propel the quality of progress in the session 2006-07, keeping in mind the demand of time, the Vocational Stream was introduced. These job-oriented courses raised the name of our school and the pass outs are engaged in different carrier-based jobs. Moreover, self-employment is another key to success among these students. In the year 2010, the Higher Secondary section was introduced with Science and Humanities Streams. The initiation has been done but till to progress a lot.

Many organization have come to provide support to the advancement of this young generation. We think they are serving as positive agents and surely that will give us a momentum in future.

For the effacement of the students along with infrastructural development separate plans have been measured. The steps that have been taken in the last ten years and the requirements are at a glance here to have a birds eye view about our effort. The teacher’s role is also worthy to be mentioned because their efforts encourage, influence and felicitate the future citizens to come.

History

The foundation stone of Moupal Deshapran Vidyapith was established at Sabuj Sangha in 1928 but it got the recognition on the 2nd January, 1955. The people whose only vocation was to spread education among the common people kindled the light of education through the foundation of this school. The precursor of this movement, if it is called so, it late Banoarilal Roy, the National awarded and then Head Teacher of Moupal Primary School which is adjacent to our school. Several hazards appeared in its smooth advancement. In 1964, finally it started its never-ending journey and approved for starting class V and class VI. Gradually the institution got the Madhyamik recognition in 1993. Slow but steady was its movement. Considering 1955 as its foundation 1980 is the Silver Jubilee Year and 2005 is the Golden Jubilee year. The year 2015 is the Diamond Jubilee year; we are celebrating the 60th year on and from the 2nd January, 2014 to the 2nd January, 2015. The Diamond Jubilee concluding programme will be held on and from the 2nd January, 2015 to the 4th January, 2015.

However, the school that started its journey with only 19 students, presently the number has crossed 1100. Now it is flying with its variegated and colourful wings.

The role of Morning Assembly in nurturing the school ethos and positive aspects among the students can not be underestimated. That is why we have taken special care of conducting the school assembly. It is not monotonous or colloquial like daily prayer. Everyday after the prayer student take an oath that enhances both their moral conscience and nationality. ‘Today’s Message is written on a particular board daily which every student is supposed to follow. After the oath is taken, one student each day in rotation is called on the stage to utter the message aloud which is then clarified elaborately by our respected teachers.
