Family

He is the son of Prince Moulay Hassan ben Driss and his wife Princess Lalla Amina bint Moulay Yusef. He has a son named Moulay Yusuf El Alaoui.

Business

Most of his business activities are in real-estate and agriculture. He is a Moroccan businessman who is worth $2.1 billion as of October 2015, making him one of the richest man in his country.

Entered the Moroccan Diplomatic Service and served as Counsellor at Madrid, and Algiers, Ambassador to Gabon and to Libya, Special Adviser to King Mohammed VI.
