Motopony is a band hailing from Tacoma, Washington and Seattle, Washington in the Pacific Northwest. Their self-titled debut album was self-released on November 14, 2009. On October 29, 2009, they were featured on the cover of Tacoma's Weekly Volcano. In December 2009 their album was placed in rotation on Seattle's public radio station KEXP where they would later chart on the December 9, January 10, and February 2010 variety charts. On January 25, 2010, their song "Seer" was used as KEXP's "Song of the Day" podcast
