Moshe Zvi (Hirsch) Segal (Hebrew: משה צבי סגל) (born 23 September 1876; died 11 January 1968) was an eminent Israeli rabbi, linguist and Talmudic scholar. Segal appears to have changed his middle name in the late 1950s or early 1960s, eventually dropping Zvi entirely. This was perhaps to distinguish himself from another Israeli Rabbi Moshe Zvi Segal (1904–1984) who was a nationalist political activist.
