Morethia is a skink genus of the order Squamata, commonly called Morethia skinks or firetail skinks, found in Australia.

    Etymology

    The specific names, butleri and storri, are in honor of two Australians: naturalist William Henry "Harry" Butler, and herpetologist Glen Milton Storr, respectively.
