History
Co-Founders Dana Kanze and Mason Sexton launched an alpha version of Moonit.com at TechCrunch San Francisco. The two met while attending The University of Pennsylvania and launched Moonit while Mason was completing his MBA at Columbia Business School. Moonit launched its first iOS application in October 2011. In November 2014, Moonit Labs announced it has raised $1.5 million in new funding. The Company intends to use the funds to expand its global presence.
Moonit had previously raised over $1m via angels in the form of convertible notes.
