Monita Angelica Maharani Tahalea (born July 21, 1987), known as Monita Tahalea, is an Indonesian pop and jazzsinger. She started her career as singer when she was able to be the fourth winner of Indonesian Idol season 2. She works as singer, songwriter and producer.

Career
Monita was born in Jakarta. She began singing after finishing at fourth place in Indonesia Idol season 2. Later on, Indonesia Idol judges, Indra Lesmana interested to produce her album title 'Dream, Hope and Faith" in 2010. At December 2015, Monita released her second album title "Dandelion"
Personal life
She finished her bachelor's degree from Trisakti University. She studied Visual Communication Design.
