Early Life and Education
Puniya was born in Alberta, Canada to Indian parents. She did her schooling from Encinal High School.
Miss T.E.E.N. India 2012
In 2012, she moved to India. The same year she was crowned Miss T.E.E.N. India 2012 and represented India at Miss T.E.E.N. Competition 2012 held in Houstan, Texas. She became the third Indian delegate to represent India at the said pageant. First Indian delegate to represent India at Miss T.E.E.N. Competition was Shreya Ishita. In 2011, Emily Shah became the second Indian representative at Miss T.E.E.N. pageant. Shah was placed 1st Runner Up at the end of the event.
Prior to becoming Miss TEEN India Puniya was a contestant at Miss Teen Canada World Pageant in the year 2011
Glamanand Supermodel India
In the year 2014, she won Glamanand Supermodel India 2014. She became the first winner in the history of the pageant. The same year she represented India at Face of Beauty International pageant held in Taiwan.
