Muhannad (Arabic: مهند) is a sword used in Arabia in ancient times. It is a masculine Arabic name also. It's name is derived from the word for India (الهند al-Hind) and could mean both "india-ified" or "indian". The iron used for it came from India, but it is uknown whether the sword was made in Arabia or India. Almuhannad was popular in Arabia.
