Mohammed Saeed Al-Habboubi (Arabic: محمد سعيد الحبوبي‎‎) (1849- 1915) He was An Iraqi Poet, Faqīh,and a merchant, born in Najaf to rich family . He studied Faqih and Arabic language in Hawza of the Najaf, shown signs of intelligence and excellence since his early life. later, He work in trade,due to his business He had to constant move between Najaf and Najad. He described travel and expatriation in his poems.Habboubi quit poetry when he reach fortieth,spent rest of his life to teach Fiqh in Hawza of the Najaf. Al-Habboubi, Abdul Ghafar al-Akhras ,and Abdul Baqi Al-Omari are considered best Iraqi poets during 19th century.

At breakout of the World War I Al- Habboubi led volunteer's groups against British invaders forces,But He died suddenly during the War in Nasiriyah 1915.

He has been Buried in Imam Ali Mosque in Najaf city.

Sculpture has been erected to Habboubi in central square of Nasiriyah city.
