Mobile Odin Pro is an Android app for Samsung devices which eliminates the need to connect the device to PC/Mac during firmware installation.

The program was developed by Jorrit "Chainfire" Jongma. It was first released in November 2011.
Technical overview
Mobile Odin Pro has the ability to flash official OTA ZIPs as well as update CWM ZIPs on most devices. Mobile Odin Pro will attempt to detect if the OTA wants to flash kernels, recoveries, and modems, and will then compare the signatures to the currently installed kernel, recovery, and modem.
Name
The project was named after the official Samsung desktop program, Odin.
