Mittakandala is a village in Pamulapadu mandal, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh state in India. Many people are dependent on agriculture. The nearest town is Atmakur. The village is approximately 5 km from Pamulapadu through which the Kunool Guntur road passes.

Many people are well educated but many of the educated left the village to pursue their careers in cities and foreign countries like the United States of America.
This village now falls under Nandikotkur Assembly constituency. Before that it was under Atmakur constituency.
