The 'Missouri Fall Face-Off is an annual NCAA lacrosse competition that takes place in Fenton, Missouri in the United States.

Background

Annual lacrosse tournament held in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally started in 2001 as an effort to encourage lacrosse in Missouri, U.S. Lacrosse in conjunction with its Missouri chapter and the St. Louis Lacrosse foundation started the Missouri Fall Face-Off. The annual tournament brings four top ranking NCAA lacrosse teams to play in Fenton, Missouri at the Anheuser-Bush Center. The tournament was started by former Missouri Lacrosse Presidents Michael Sennett and J.C. Dillon.

    The tournament’s main focus was to address the traditional eastern popularity of the sport and develop and attract players in Missouri’s developing lacrosse community.

    The tournament has been a part of the recruitment of mid-western high school student athletes to eastern NCAA teams—many of whom return to play with their respective program—as well as the induction of Fontbonne University as the first NCAA lacrosse program in Missouri.

    Fontbonne University defeated Wittenberg University with an 11-7 victory.
