Miss North Carolina 2013, was held in the High Point Theater on November 10, 2012. Sydney Perry Miss North Carolina USA 2013 crowned Ashley Love Mills as her successor at the end of the event. Ashley represented the state of North Carolina at the Miss USA 2013 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada and placed in the top 10. This was North Carolina's first place since Kristen Dalton won in 2009
