Mirzo ulugbek
Mirzo Ulugbek (also spelled Mirzo Ulug'bek or Mirza Ulugbeg) is one of 11 districts (tuman) of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. It was named after the astronomer, mathematician and sultan Ulugh Beg.

Overview
It is a north-eastern district of the city and was established in 1981 with the name of Kuybyshev, referring to the Russian revolutionary leader Valerian Kuybyshev.
Mirzo Ulugbek borders with the districts of Yunusabad and Yashnobod. It borders also with Tashkent Province.
