The Ministers of Foreign Affairs (Ukrainian: Міністр закордонних справ) is Ukraine's head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which is in charge of a diplomatic corps and realization of the state foreign policy. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is appointed by the President.
Since Ukrainian independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, there have been 13 Ministers. Leonid Kozhara, under President Yanukovich, has been heading the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in 2013.
