The New South Wales Minister for Planning is a minister in the Government of New South Wales with responsibility for regional and urban planning with the goal of facilitating sustainable growth and employment in New South Wales, Australia.

The current Minister for Planning who is also the Minister for Housing and the Special Minister of State, since 30 January 2017, is Anthony Roberts. The minister is supported by the Minister for the Environment, the Minister for Local Government, and the Minister for Heritage, currently Gabrielle Upton, also appointed with effect from 30 January 2017. Together, the ministers administer the portfolio through the Department of Planning and Environment, a department of the Government of New South Wales and additional agencies such as the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, the NSW Office of Local Government, the Central Coast Regional Development Corporation, the Hunter Development Corporation, the Luna Park Reserve Trust, the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, and UrbanGrowth.
