George Henry "Mick" Exley (15 November 1911 — February 1990) birth registered in Wakefield district, was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, playing at representative level for Great Britain (non-Test matches), England, and Yorkshire, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity (captain) (Heritage № 352), as a wing, or second-row, i.e. number 2 or 5, or, 11 or 12 during the era of contested scrums.

Mick Exley made his début for Wakefield Trinity during April 1929, he appears to have scored no drop-goals (or field-goals as they are currently known in Australasia), but prior to the 1974–75 season all goals, whether; conversions, penalties, or drop-goals, scored 2-points, consequently prior to this date drop-goals were often not explicitly documented, therefore '0' drop-goals may indicate drop-goals not recorded, rather than no drop-goals scored. In addition, prior to the 1949–50 season, the archaic field-goal was also still a valid means of scoring points.

Mick Exley was the Landlord of the Commercial Inn, Thornes Lane, Wakefield from 1945 until 1952, and later the Black Swan, Castleford Road, Normanton.
