Michelle Manning is an American film director, producer and television director.

Manning attended USC Film School. She began her career working with John Hughes, producing the films Sixteen Candles (1984) and The Breakfast Club (1985). In 1986, she made her directorial debut with the film Blue City based on the Ross Macdonald novel of the same name. The film starred Judd Nelson and Ally Sheedy and remains the only film she has directed to date. In addition, she also directed episodes of Friday the 13th: The Series and Miami Vice.

In 1991, Manning began working for Paramount Pictures as senior vice president of production. In 1997, she was promoted to president of production. She continues to work for Paramount, producing the films The Eye (2008) and The Dirt (2011), based on the music autobiography of the same name.
