Michael Pitts (born December 31, 1955) is an American politician. He is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 14th District, serving since 2003. He is a member of the Republican party.

In the aftermath of the mass shooting in Charleston in 2015, Pitts said he would not vote to remove the Confederate battle flag from the grounds of the state house.

Pitts proposed dozens of amendments to the bill to remove the flag in an attempt to slow or stop the bill.
