Michael MacLeod is Associate Professor of Political Science at St. Mary's University College, as well as a researcher in the area of international relations. His specific area of expertise is the global governance of multinational corporations and the rise of corporate social responsibility.

Vocational History

MacLeod received his BA (Honours) and MA degrees in Political Studies from Queen's University in Canada. He graduated in 2008 from George Washington University in Washington, DC, with a PhD in Political Science. In 2008-2009, he was named Bentley University's Postdoctoral Fellow in Arts & Sciences. From 2009 to 2014, he was employed at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, teaching courses on political science, international politics and comparative government. In addition, he was the university's Director of International Studies.
