The Mewasi Bhil are a clan of the Bhil ethnic community and are found in the state of Rajasthan, India.

Social status
As of 2001, the Mewasi Bhil were classified as a Scheduled Tribe under the Indian government's reservation program of positive discrimination.
History
The Bhil are the indigenous people of the region, but were either subjugated by Rajput overlords, or pursued into the jungles by the invaders in the 16th century.
