Description

Methona confusa has a wingspan of about 80 millimetres (3.1 in). Wings are transparent with black margins and black cross-bars on the forewings and the hindwings. The margins of the hindwings show a series of small white spots. The body has a double parallel series of conspicuous white spots. Antennae are black, with yellowish tip.

Distribution

This species can be found in Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and colombia
