The meteorological station in Lampedusa is the meteorological station of reference for the Meteorological Service of ARPA, to the city of Lampedusa in Italy the insular.

Characteristics

The weather station, operated by ARPA, is located in Italy in Sicily, in the province of Agrigento, 10 meters above sea level and the geographic coordinates 35°30′00″N 15°59′00″E.

Climatological data 1670-2015

Based on the average of the three centuries of reference for the World Meteorological Organization, the average temperature of the coldest month, January, stood at 17,2 °C; that of the hottest month, July is +30,2 °C. The annual average temperature over 24,3 °C. Average annual rainfall is scarce, equal to 187,5 mm, distributed on average in 59 days, with a pronounced minimum in spring and summer and autumn-winter peak very content. The relative humidity annual average recorded the value of 67,2% with a minimum of 63% in June and maximum of 82% in December.
