Background
Metanoia formed in 1990 as a vision of Guitarist Steve Bennett's. Bennett hired on his wife, Lisa (Spud), to perform the Bass in the band. The two later hired on Drummer Dylan Speerstra and Vocalist Yowie Smith. In 1996, the band saw the departure of Speerstra and his brief replacement Michael Politanski and an official replacement for both, Ian Northey. In 1998, Smith departed from the band, for unknown reasons and was replaced by Simon Pankhurst. In 1999, the band added on Guitarist Dean Willey before disbanding in 2000.
