Such solutions enable merchants to use diverse payment service providers on a single checkout page, which consequently allows to offer a variety of payment methods to the customer. The functionalities of the meta payment service provider include the collection of the customer’s credit card data and other information that the merchant recognizes important as well as the transfer of this data to the particular payment service provider, which depends on the payment method that has been chosen during the checkout process.
