After witnessing Callie (Hedda Hopper) announce her divorce at a weekend house party, her friend Helen (Mary Duncan) starts thinking about leaving her husband as well. Happily married Connie (Leila Hyams) and Jack (Norman Foster) are also attending the gathering, but during the trip home their car breaks down, and the couple are driven back by lecherous Tony (Adolphe Menjou), who has just ended an affair with Helen. When Connie suspects Jack of cheating, she gives in to Tonys advances.
