The Memphis Public Library (est. 1888) is a public library serving Shelby County, Tennessee.

The Memphis Public library has a yearly circulation of 250,000 items, offers nearly 500 programs, and serves nearly 400,000 patrons per year. The library has 17 branches scattered throughout the city of Memphis and surrounding areas.
The library also operates a radio station, WYPL.
