Meka Olowola is a Nigerian businessman, the Managing Partner, Zenera Consulting. He is a Board member of CSR-in-Action, a non-profit brand that promotes Corporate and Collective Social Responsibility in West Africa. He currently serves as the chairman of BuzzDigital, digital brand and marketing communications subsidiary that develops markets in Africa and Europe. He also functions as the chairman of Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (YES) Nigeria

Personal life and education
He had his secondary education at the Federal Government College, Ogbomosho, Oyo State. He studied Physiology at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna, graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Engagements
He was Chairman of the 4th conference on Sustainability in the Extractive Industries (SITEI) event held in Nigeria in 2015, which hosted eminent individuals to stimulate exchange of ideas on how to unlock the potential of Nigeria’s $100bn extractive industry while also promoting its sustainability In 2013, he participated in the Horasis Global China Business Meeting and gives insights on possible ways to enhance capacity building and recognize strategic Environmental Impacts Assessments (EIA) as cardinal factors in exploiting environmental resources in Nigeria’s extraction sector "Meka also serves on the Board of Trustees of The Tsori Foundation a Nigerian-based charity organisation estblished to act as a voice for victims of rape and sexual violence."
Achievements
Meka’s professional career crisscrosses Oando Plc where he discharged his core responsibility of supporting revenue generation through results-oriented strategic brand communication and trade management interventions for ten years. He worked closely with business development leads across the group to deliver on annual business objectives, and was responsible for image and reputation management, external/internal relationship management, media relations, investor/financial communications, and crisis management for the group and its subsidiaries. Meka also represented the interest of the Oando brand locally and internationally, whilst acting as the company spokesperson and frontline representative on all external relations and engagements. Prior to joining Oando Plc in 2003, Meka had worked as Corporate Affairs Officer at Societe Bancaire Nigeria Limited (now Unity Bank) from 2000 to 2003. Earlier in his career, Meka had worked as Assistant Manager, Business Development with an integrated advertising agency, PREX Limited from 1998 to 2000.
Appointments
In 2012, Meka was appointed by the Honorable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy to the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a Member of the Special Subcommittee on Nigeria’s Hosting of the World Economic Forum on Africa in 2014 In 2014, he was appointed to the faculty of Mara Mentors of the Mara Group, where he mentors youths on professional development In 2013, he joined the Faculty of ValueConcepts Kenya, a training firm that provides manpower development services to the East African region.
Activities
Meka has written a few poems including Diva and Mid-Morning Miracle. Meka has participated in several golf tournaments and also pursues courses that border on child education, gender equality and wealth creation in all strata of the Nigerian society.
