Meiho University (MU; Chinese: 美和科技大學) is an accredited, private university in Neipu Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. It has nearly 8,000 students. MU is renowned for its excellent nursing program.
Contents
History
The university began in 1966 as Taiwan's first private nursing college. Later, more departments were added and in 2010 the name was changed from Meiho Institute of Technology to Meiho University.
Academics
MU houses 18 departments and three graduate institutes organized in three colleges.
MU offers graduate programs in Healthcare Management, Biotechnology, and Business Administration.
Transportation
The university is accessible from Zhutian Station of the Taiwan Railways Administration. The easiest way from Kaohsiung City is to travel to Pingtung City train station and then take a bus or a taxi to Neipu. Meiho University is located on Highway 1.
