Career

Mehreen was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She sings Bangla jazz-fusion-pop.

Popular Anchor, stage Host, Newscaster, model turned Pop star, Mehreen began her career in 1994, and her debut album Anari was released in 2000. In 2012 she judged the Bangladeshi Idol. In 2008 she was a judge from Bangladesh at "The Band Wagon", band hunt reality show in Kolkata, with Grammy winner A.R.Rahman. She is the 1st face of tv Channel i, 1st digital channel of Bangladesh.

She profusely sang for the Cricket and football of Bangladesh; to top is a song, Bangladesh National Cricket Team during 2011 Cricket World Cup titled Cup Kintu Ektai. Bangladeshi Idol.

She completed her masters in English Literature from the University of Dhaka. Besides Bangla, she sings Chinese, Nepalese, Japanese, Sri Lankan, Gujrati, Hindi, etc. She is adept in Tagore, Folk and Nazrul.
