Mehdi Ghafourifar (born 1964) is an Iranian-American author and businessman.

Early life
Ghafourifar was born (October 26, 1964) and raised in Iran. Prior to migrating to the United States, Ghafourifar witnessed the first half of the Islamic revolution. After moving to the United States, the financial and diplomatic strains caused by the 444-day Hostage Crisis severed the family's support from Iran.
Business
In 1986, after several entrepreneurial endeavors on the East Coast, Ghafourifar moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and founded a venture which grew to become the largest B2B membership organization in Silicon Valley. The organization was later acquired by a public company in mid-2001.
Since 2003, Ghafourifar has served as the Chairman of Pillarton Corporation, a capital and management advisory services company based in Silicon Valley. Ghafourifar is also the Founder and CEO of Univetica, a social initiative with a vision of "a thriving global community" and a mission to help people improve their decision making skills.
Ghafourifar has joined the Entefy team. Entefy is a startup co-founded by his two children—Alston Ghafourifar and Brienne Ghafourifar.
