Mehboob Khan better known as Chef Mehboob is a Pakistani celebrity chef, a television personality and a cooking expert. He is famously known for his cooking shows Zauq Zindagi and Good Healthy Life on ARY Zauq. He is also an author of cookbook Food for Life which garnered him great attention as a health-food expert. Currently he is serving as a Judge in cooking competition MasterChef Pakistan (Pakistani version of World-renowned MasterChef).

Mehboob was born in 1969 to a Pathan decent family in Karachi, as Mehboob Mandokhel but used his nation name Khan, he completed his early education in Karachi and started his career as a Chef in 1986. According to him, his passion led him to this way. He started receiving great success as a cooking expert after 90's and is considered as one of those chefs of Pakistan who have managed to maintain their status from day one and have earned a good name in their field. His work is often appreciated since he has considerable command over giving sensible health tips.

Cooking style

Chef Mehboob is excelled in Pakistani Cuisine, Asian cuisine, Chinese cuisine and South African cuisine, moreover he is specially known for his low-calories-low-fat food techniques in most eaten foods. His health guidelines led to the launch of his first cookbook Food For Life which features almost 50 healthy recipes of food that has received nice recognition within the country.
