Megan Jones (née Hess, born 1986 or 1987) is the Iowa State Representative from the 2nd District. A Republican, she has served in the Iowa House of Representatives since 2013.

Voting accessibility
During the 2017 legislative session, Jones voted to shorten both the amount of time one may cast an absentee ballot and the number of days one can vote at satellite polling sites, and she voted to require all voters to present a state-issued ID. Though she voted for the measure, the bill was opposed by the Iowa State Association of Counties, an advocacy group for Iowa's disabled, and Iowa's Department on Aging opposed the bill.

Biography
Jones is serving a second term in the Iowa House representing District 2. Originally born and raised in Harlan, Iowa she presently resides in rural Sioux Rapids, Iowa. Jones is a lawyer with the Hemphill Law Office, PLC in Spencer.
After graduating from Spencer High School, Jones attended Drake University. Jones balanced a full-time job with her studies and graduated with degrees in Law, Politics and Society and Business. She then went on to earn her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law.
Jones is a member of Storm Lake United Methodist Church. She is a member of the Spencer Daybreakers Kiwanis Club and Keep Iowa Beautiful. Elected as Megan Hess, she married Will Jones August 16, 2014. The two have one son.
