Medecision is population health management and Software as a service company that services health plans, government programs, hospitals, physician groups and Accountable care organizations. Founded in 1988 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Medecision has additional offices in Dallas and Philadelphia.
Historically Medecision offered care cycle management and care management services, and was one of the first companies to provide a Software as a service-based care cycle management platform. These platforms combine data from all available sources including case management, clinical data, consumer engagement and more to improve the healthcare of entire populations along with improving an organization's efficiency.
In 2013 Medecision acquired California-based CERECONS, a firm that specialized in software for hospitals, incorporating their technology and services into Medecision's main business offering, the Aerial platform.
